바노의 연구는 도시와 사람의 행위 또는 주변적 요소들에 반응하는 건축 디자인 방법론을 다루고 있다. 그 대상은 예를 들어 인구 밀도, 바람, 소음 등이 있는 데 컴퓨터 전문화된 방법을 통해서 개념적인 아이디어의 디자인 프로세스를 발전시키고 추상적인 아이디어를 가시적으로 구현하기 위한 방법으로 코딩이나 디지털 제조 방식을 연구한다. 코딩은 AI의 디지털 디자인의 기본틀을 구상하고 창의적이며 효과적인 과정과 결과를 도출하는 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

The research of VANO is about architectural design methodology responding to urban, human activities and environmental factors such as population density, wind, noise and etc. Through computational methods, it has developed design process of conceptual idea and has researched on coding and digital fabrication to realise the idea. 

Coding plays an significant role in conceptualizing the basic framework of AI digital design and deriving creative and effective processes and results.
