  바노 건축사사무소는 2026년에 서울을 기반으로 설립되었다. 이 회사는 2019년부터 시아키텍이란 디자인 사무소로 시작하여 2026년에 건축사사무소로 전환되었다. 2019년부터 이어져온 실험적인 디지털 건축 개념에 관한 연구는 바노 산하인 바노 디지털랩을 통해 계속해서 진행되고 있다. 디지털 디자인 연구를 실무적으로 건축에서 활용할 수 있는 방법을 고민을 할 뿐만 아니라 건축의 영역이 아닌 다른 다양한 분야에도 그것을 적용시키기 위한 노력을 하고 있다.

 설립자는 영국 런던대학교 바틀렛 [ Bartlett, UCL ] 에서 건축학 석사 [ RIBA MArch ] 를 전공하고 졸업 후 런던에 위치한 건축 회사 NORR UK, Corstorphine and Wright 에서 프로젝트 설계를 통해 현실에 적용가능한 디지털 건축 디자인 연구를 지속해왔다. 실험적인 디지털 디자인 방법론과 다양한 영역에서의 교육을 통해 디지털 건축 영역의 개념을 확장하고 현실에 적용하는 시도를 하고 있다.

VANO architects was established in 2026, based in Seoul, South Korea. This firm started as a design office called SYArchi-tech in 2019 and transitioned into a registered architect office in 2026. Research on experimental digital architecture concepts, which has been ongoing since 2019, continues through VANO Digital Lab, an affiliate of VANO. This firm is exploring practical ways to utilize in architecture through digital design research, as well as striving to apply it to various fields beyond the realm of architecture.

The founder graduated from Bartlett UCL [ RIBA MArch ] where he studied digital architecture, and worked at UK architectural companies in London while working on projects with real conditions and researching digital architecture applicable to contemporary built environment. Through experimental digital design research methods and different kinds of education, this firm is attempting to expand the field of digital architecture and to apply it to reality.
